I’ve never felt a need for this newspaper (or, in fact, noticed it before). Does this mean I’m an amateur woman?

This newspaper is very odd. It’s run by a megalomaniac woman who thinks the only person who might be able to relate to her is Conrad Black because he also started up a national newspaper from scratch. Delusions of grandeur, anyone? The publisher thinks she is a celebrity and is often featured in the paper’s society column. And the paper itself is a weird hodgepodge of columns all connected somehow because…they’re all written by women?
Clearly no one has told her that professional women wouldn’t be caught dead reading a PINK newspaper… unless they’re 5 years old 🙂
How very bizarre. I honestly don’t think I’d ever seen it before.
The box I photographed is outside the Atrium on Bay, kind of halfway down the block where it’s particularly desolate. Not exactly a spot with heavy foot-traffic.

… and
Michael Coren, for some reason.

Well, there is that.
It used to be much more common – the Telegram was printed on pink newsprint until it started running colour photography in maybe 1960. I think the Financial Times is the only holdout now.
