Me: No, it’s not the weekend yet. Why don’t you play with your Webkinz on the computer?
M: Nooooo. I want to just sit and watch a movie.
D: Hey, I know. Why don’t you come upstairs and play with your Nintendo?
M: Noooo! Nintendo’s too active!

Our guys just got Webkinz yesterday — the company set up a big sales display in a nearby store and ensnared all the local children. Seems wholesome enough, although Jamie can’t really do much of it on his own yet.
The Webkinz are pretty fun. Some of the little games are pleasingly mindless.
Nintendo’s too active? Not a candidate for a Wii, then, I take it?
Not a candidate for anything other than lying prone on the floor and blinking occasionally, I think… *I* got some good exercise laughing, though…
